Kantha Quilting Sunday 21st October 2018 tbc
An introduction to traditional Indian Kantha Quilting. Kantha has become very popular over recent years. Originally it was a way of recycling and re-purposing worn out Saris into bed covers and mats, and included motifs reflecting the lives of the women who stitched them. We'll be learning the basics and stitching some traditional motifs on a small panel.
