Sashiko & Gingerbread -

Christmas Card Workshop

Make a gorgeous Japanese inspired Christmas Card for your loved ones this Christmas.

A handmade card makes a special gift in itself and is also a great way to personalise a monetary gift or gift voucher.

Sunday 13th November 2016
2pm - 4.30pm,  at The Barony Centre
Only £20 - Includes materials & Gingerbread!

In this afternoon workshop you'll learn Japanese Sashiko hand quilting techniques and work a small finished piece to go into a greeting card frame. Japanese Sashiko quiliting is really relaxing and enjoyable and can be quick and simple, or challenging and complex, so it has something for everyone. You'll not only take home a finished card, but also the skills to make more at home. You can choose a design to work on the day from a choice of three, ranging from complete beginners' level to something more challenging.

The cost is £20 with all Materials included as well as tea and homemade Gingerbread. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced stitchers.
